Gone are the days of employing a hemostat, pliers, or worse in the attempts to remove a pesky tick, only to risk infection by leaving the offender’s head embedded in the skin. Opinel’s No. 12 Tick Removal Knife makes extraction much safer and easier with a unique tick removal tool hidden safely inside the handle. Just insert the tick inside one of the two appropriately sized slots, twist and lift the entire tick out—including the head. The knife also does double duty with a robust 4″ folding Sandvik stainless steel blade and features a bright orange, fiber-reinforced handle for high visibility inside notoriously dark hunting packs. Includes a lanyard hole, 110-dB dog whistle and a detachable, easy-clean cutting hook in handle for cording or processing game. In olive/blaze.
